Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation

Sustainable Development Goals

Clear Neutral is committed to supporting the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through our carbon offset initiatives and our work in the lab grown diamond industry. These goals, established in 2015, guide nations towards achieving a better and more sustainable future by 2030.

Clean Water and Sanitation aims to ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all. The goal recognises that access to clean water and adequate sanitation is crucial for human health, well-being, and sustainable development. It focuses on improving water quality, increasing water efficiency, and expanding access to safe and affordable drinking water and basic sanitation facilities.

Goal 6 calls for the protection and restoration of water-related ecosystems, including rivers, lakes, and wetlands, as well as the implementation of integrated water resource management practices. It also addresses the issue of water scarcity and the importance of water cooperation at local, national, and international levels. The goal emphasises the need to address water and sanitation challenges in vulnerable communities, including those affected by natural disasters and conflict situations.

By achieving this goal, societies can improve health outcomes, reduce poverty, enhance food security, and ensure sustainable water resources for present and future generations.
